We recently reached out to Julian Mautner, Founder of Stillalive Studios, on the possibility of Son of Nor making it over to Wii U given the Wii U\’s unique control-style and the outcome of the talks were rather positive with Mautner deciding that a Wii U port of the game would make viable stretch goal option. Specifically,

\”We are eager to test Son of Nor on the WiiU, as it would add really a lot to the game! If everything works out we\’d be interested in porting the game as part of a stretch-goal!\”

But first, let me tell you exactly what this singleplayer and co-op action adventure game is. Set in a dynamic desert world, which can be shaped by the player\’s magic, the team describes Son of Nor as an award winning and challenging 3rd person action adventure game that can be played in single player or with up to 4 players cooperatively online or via split-screen.

In this game where players will be put up to defend against the Sarahul Army, your job is to use your magic abilities, Telekinesis, Terraforming, Elemental Magic, as more than just weapons in a fight, but to also discover the long-forgotten temples protected by clever mechanisms, if you desire to proceed through the game that is.

These mechanisms are the source of power that many mages in Noshrac are looking for. Succeeding in opening them frees the magic held within the temple, granting you the additional ability to control the elements of the world and increase your odds against the Sarahul.

Son of Nor consists of fights, puzzles, exploration of the temples and the world, all the while enhancing the player\’s experience by the diverse story and original lore.

Let us know what you think about this game in comments below and if you\’d like to see this game on the Wii U you can head to their kickstarter page to share and back the project.
