Did Nintendo Know About What Was Going On in Foxconn?

Video by Rich; Intro by Menashe

This editorial is a video by Rich, but first let me comment. As Rich mentions in the video, there is no way anyone was going to be boycotting Foxconn because there are probably so many places we’re using some form of electronics manufactured by Foxconn that we wouldn’t even know it. So, did Nintendo know about the underage workers at Foxconn and did they say, ‘It’s not our business to scrutinize too hard.’? Probably. But, it’s not just Nintendo. It’s anyone who associates themselves with Foxconn. Which is everyone, including Microsoft, Sony, Amazon, and Apple (Foxconn helps in the development of PS3, Xbox 360, iPad, and Kindle.) It’s unfortunate, but this is the reality in the business world.  Businesses often turn a blind eye to others’ activities that they might have morally felt obligated to speak out upon but would rather not make a fuss. Of course, Rich isn’t too pleased with this kind of attitude and I’ll let you listen to what he has t say about it.

of course they knew! check out their illegal history crimes, they were involved with blood coal mineral. Also having bad energy consumption. for a company with bad activity, of course they would know what they are getting into. Because, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft, Apple etc are all in the illegal crime of Foxconn, they decide to join in the bandwagon. Due to the fact that they wouldn't get all the blame. How can Nintendo tell a company to mass produce a console by Nov 2012. The company Foxconn say it's impossible because they are 9k short on staff. Yet both still agree on the contract. makes no sense. These are the kinds of companies terrorist should bomb. Not innocents like us! They should bomb their factories and all these top food of the chain companies like Nintendo.
