Bravely Default Scores Near Perfect in Famitsu Review!
by Menashe
Many of us are hotly anticipating the upcoming Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for 3DS. We are actually in the middle of preparing an article claiming that the game is the first RPG that hearkens back to the games that Square used to make in the classic years of Squaresoft. It actually reminds us of a 3D version of Final Fantasy VI. Of course, this has us very interested in the final product: would it live up to its potential?
From the first signs, it appears that it has. Famitsu has the earliest review of the game and they have given it nearly a perfect score. Two reviewers gave it a 10 and two reviewers gave it a 9. The final score was 38/40. We’ll have more news on their comments as it comes out. Another game that was reviewed in the latest edition of Famitsu was Project X Zone, the collaboration game between Namco, Capcom, and Sega. It scored 9/8/8/8, which means it’s a good game but not necessarily one that will go down as a classic.
