Game Informer has revealed two more of the attractions set to star in NintendoLand!

  • Miis can ride a small train to and from attractions in the central plaza.
  • Spend coins in the plaza that you’ve earned by playing attractions.
  • Winning pachinko games populates the park with Nintendo memorabilia (Hell Yeah!)
  • This includes Miis in Zelda costumes & Samus’s ship.
  • Metroid Blast has everyone dress up in Samus’ armour!
  • The player with the GamePad flies Samus’ ship.
  • Upto 4 Wii MotionPlus & Nunchuk players are tasked to shoot down the ship.
  • No radar available.
  • Includes a lava-filled Norfair-themed map.
  • This map features a mechanical Kraid that players can grapple up.
  • Metroid Blast requires Wii MotionPlus.
  • Another mode in Metroid Blaster involves collecting tokens.
  • There’s also a co-op mode where you fight off robotic Metroid enemies including Metroids & Space Pirates.
  • Balloon Fight Trip Breeze is another new attraction!
  • Float through side-scrolling levels like in the original game.
  • These levels are filled with electrified spikes, crazy birds and hungry fish.
  • Players use the GamePad to draw gusts of wind to direct your Mii to safety.
  • GamePad offers zoomed-in view, TV shows complete playing field just like Donkey Kong’s Crash Course.
  • Wind storms will knock you about, and electric spikes will stun you.
  • Deliver packages as well for extra tokens.
  • Still no details on if the game will be stand-alone or a Wii U pack-in.
  • Several retailers have pre-order sleeves for the game as if it was an individual SKU.
  • Expect confirmation on September 13th.
  • Different bundles may be announced for different regions. Wii Sports for example wasn’t included with the Japanese Wii.
NintendoLand was announced at E3 2012 for the Wii U. It includes twelve different attractions based on Nintendo’s vast IP library. Known attractions include…
  • Takamuru’s Ninja Castle (Based on 1986 Famicom title  Nazo no Murasame Jo)
  • Luigi’s Ghost Mansion
  • The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest
  • Animal Crossing: Sweet Day
  • Donkey Kong’s Crash Course
  • F-Zero
  • Metroid Blast
  • Balloon Flight Trip Breeze
Four more attractions left to be unveiled. Any guesses? Blue Leaf, Yoshi Egg, Mario Cap and an Octorok?

Hmmmm... Red Mario Cap: Probably a Mario platformer game. Yoshi's Egg: A remake of Yoshi from the NES days. Octorok: It might be a Birdo mini game for all I know. Blue Leaf: A Pokemon game?

Red Mario Cap: Probably Mario Party-ish stuff. Blue Leaf: It's the same leaf that turns Mario into Raccoon Mario, just blue. So it's gotta be something flight related! Possibly even a racing mini-game with the Mario Kart Leaf Cup.

Okay; maybe the blue leaf is a Pilotwings thing. And you're probably right on the Mario Party thing.
