The mighty Hatsune Miku has given the Vita a much needed shock to the heart, but not a single other PSV game appears in the top thirty. A couple new 3DS games keep Nintendo’s money-printing machine atop the charts for another week, where it will likely stay if you consider the imminent releases of New Art Academy, Animal Crossing: Jump Out & Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

This is the most systems Vita has sold in Japan in a week since the second week of it's existence! Vita will likely sell 80,000 units this week globally after selling near 33,000-40,000 per week globally the last month or so. All while 3DS sells 70,000 a week in Japan alone and around 210,000-230,000 a week globally. Oh; and notice PSV had one title which despite being #1; was the only one in the top thirty which 3DS basically surpassed the software totals with #2, #3, and #4 (Karuga, Soul Hackers, New Mario 2). And they have 10 games in the top thirty. Sony: Color me unimpressed.

I think it's because the 3DS got so much hate during it's launch and everyone was claiming Nintendo is doomed. Then the Vita finally comes out and does much worse than 3DS's launch, yet it doesn't receive any kind of hate articles like the 3DS got.
