How well has the 3DS LL (XL) and New Super Mario Bros 2 sold in Japan?

Famitsu have reported some sales figures,  straight from its parent company Enterbrain showing that Nintendo’s new releases are off to a flying start! Both of the sales figures just show sales for Saturday and Sunday, which shows just how impressive these are. The NSMB2 sales don’t include the downloaded versions via the eShop.

Nintendo 3DSLL: 193, 441

New Super Mario Bros 2: 430, 185

There are also reports that the 3DS XL has managed to sell through nearly 10,000 units in the UK over its opening weekend. This may not sound as impressive as the Japanese figures, but these still outsell the original 3DS 2:1!
