Camelot – Donkey Kong 64 sequel?

The president of Camelot, Hiroyuki Takahashi, says working on a Donkey Kong game “would prove really interesting” because their games are full of surprises.

When Donkey Kong 64 was brought up in this same interview, Takahashi said he “would love to make a sequel to it.”

Camelot is most well-known for their RPGs such as Golden Sun on Nintendo handhelds and the Shining Force series on earlier Sega systems. They also have skills in sports games from their time working on the Mario Gold and Mario Tennis series. It would be rather interesting to see how they would approach a 3D platformer, but I’m totally behind such an idea.
