The Wii U will support Wii Remote, Nunchuk and Balance Board. The Wii U also will work with the Wii U Pro Controller, a redesigned Classic Controller Pro.

Miiverse, you can add facial expressions to tell people your mood. Also post screenshots, and transmit game content you’ve created. This can then be added to others games.
Miiverse works with all Wii U games, and features such as speechbubbles with tips can appear in games. Mario 2D game shown.

Nintendo considers the GamePad’s screen to be a social window.
Miiverse works with single player games and multi-player games online, to track goals, regardless of space or time. Browser based. This will be available from Wii U, 3DS, PC and any web enabled device including smartphones and tablets.
Internet Browser, can browse on GamePad, and share with big screen so everyone can see.
