Just like a slow moving, dim witted, and brain craving zombie the game Resident Evil: The Mercenaries lurks its way to the 3DS tomorrow.  The game will contain over 30 levels with time-based modes and levels from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5.  Playable characters will comprise  8 different people from the world of Resident Evil  which are Chris Redfield, Krauser, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Barry Burton, Rebecca Chambers and Claire Redfield.  The Mercenaries will also include single-player and co-op modes.  The game will retail for $19.99 on the 3DS eShop.

Polygon said that late last year developers over at Capcom said that prior to developing the Mercenaries 3D, they were able to get Resident Evil 5 working on a 3DS.  Resident Evil: Revelations, which was released in 2012 for the 3DS, will arrive this May for the PC, Wii U, PS3, and XBox 360.

About Tom Stovall

Tom Stovall, a once true blue Sega loyalist and 100% converted Nintendo Enthusiast loves to write (as if you can't tell), drink Mountain Dew, eat pizza like a ninja turtle, bowl, hike, listen to all sorts of music (but loves 8 bit chip rock the most), go to movies (sci fiction, action, a chick flick if his wife gets him to go), and whip his son's butt at video games. He loves retro games the most like Super Mario Bros. 3, Castlevania 3, Mega Man 3, and all other sequels with the number 3 in them. Feel free to send him a message or even an anti-Nintendo rant if you dare.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I got Revelations mixed up with RE 5 :)

You forgot to add that it's coming to the online store, the game itself has been out since 2011. And i'm not sure about that polygon quote, mercenaries was out way before revelations and was significantly less work due to borrowed assets etc.
